TERMS & CONDITIONS: Live As Local

Welcome to Live As Local! By booking any of our experiences (Audio Tours, Food Walks, or Cooking Classes), you agree to the following terms. Our goal is to ensure a safe, fun, and authentic Athenian experience for everyone.

1. Booking & Access

Audio Tours (VoiceMap):
Your booking provides a unique access code for one device. You are responsible for having a charged smartphone and internet access to download the tour.

Live Experiences:
A booking is confirmed only after full payment and receipt of our confirmation email.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that travel plans change. Here is how we handle refunds:

Audio Tours:
Once an access code has been activated or the tour has started, no refunds can be issued.

Cooking Classes (Sunday Experience):

  • More than 24 hours notice: Full refund

  • Less than 24 hours or no-show: No refund

Food Walks:

  • More than 24 hours notice: Full refund

  • Less than 24 hours or no-show: No refund

Rescheduling may be offered depending on availability.

3. Deadlines & Punctuality

Cooking Class Deadline:
Online bookings close at 10:00 AM on the day of the experience.

Arrival:
Please arrive on time. For cooking classes, arrival earlier than 5 minutes before the start time (13:30) is not recommended.

Late arrivals may miss part of the experience and cannot be refunded.

4. Health, Allergies & Safety

Allergies:
Guests must inform us of any dietary needs or allergies at least 24 hours in advance.

Alcohol:
Some experiences include alcohol. Guests are responsible for their own consumption.

Personal Safety:
You are responsible for your own safety during all experiences.

Liability:
Live As Local is not liable for accidents, injuries, delays, or loss of personal belongings.

5. Respect the Neighborhood

Our experiences take place in real neighborhoods.

Please:

  • Respect residents and private property

  • Keep noise levels low

  • Leave no trash behind

And yes — respect the local cats 🐾

6. Intellectual Property

All stories, riddles, routes, and recipes are the intellectual property of Live As Local.

Recording, copying, or sharing content without permission is not allowed.

7. Changes, Minimum Participants & Force Majeure

We reserve the right to modify routes, locations, or timing if necessary.

Experiences may require a minimum number of participants. If this is not met, we may offer rescheduling or a full refund.

We are not responsible for cancellations or changes due to events beyond our control (e.g. weather, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances).
